Online booking software for tradies that only offers times you can do

Your page, your link

Each business gets a page at its own address, with no sign-in for the customer. Settings gives you the link, a QR code for your van, flyers or invoices, and a snippet to put a “Book online” button on your website. Switch the page off at any time.

Services from your price book

Bookable services come from your price book. Mark the items you want customers to book and give each one a length, from 15 minutes to 12 hours, and a price, a “from” price or no price at all. A gutter clean might be a fixed price; a blocked drain might be “from”. The page never shows your costs or codes.

Only truly free times

A booking form that cannot see your Calendar leaves you to sort out the clashes. Karya Falak works out each slot from the rules you set and everything already on the Calendar.

• Your business hours, and each person’s own booking hours.
• A lead time, so nobody books you for ten minutes from now.
• How far ahead customers can book.
• A buffer either side of visits, events, leave and other bookings, for travel and pack-up.
• Closed on public holidays for your state, if you want.
• Two people trying to take the last slot get one booking and one “pick another time”.

Only the areas you cover

Limit bookings by postcode, postcode range, such as 3000-3207, or suburb. Someone outside your area is told before they book, instead of after you have driven halfway there. Leave it empty to take bookings from everyone.

Request or instant, service by service

Request is the default. The booking lands as a new card on your Incoming board, titled with the service and the customer’s name, with a tentative visit holding a free person’s time. The office confirms or declines it, and the customer is told either way.

Instant holds the time for 15 minutes and emails the customer a six-digit code. The right code confirms the booking and puts a confirmed visit on the Calendar, with the free person on it or left for the office to assign. It suits short, fixed jobs where you are happy to be booked without a phone call.

Customers manage their own bookings

Every booking comes with a private manage link. Until the cut-off you set, the customer can cancel or move to another free time, up to three moves. After the cut-off the page asks them to contact you. Every change updates the visit, goes in the audit log, and sends the customer the new details.

Built to keep out spam

Bookings are limited per address, email and mobile, hidden fields catch bots, and instant bookings need the emailed code. A new customer is matched to an existing contact by email or mobile, so the same person is not added twice, and the lead source is recorded as “Online booking”.

Who it suits

The online booking module is on by default for trades and cleaning businesses, and the page stays off until you switch it on. It works best for repeatable services with a known length: regular and end of lease cleans, air-con services, gutter cleans, pest treatments, lock changes and handyman hours.
