Who we are

Karya Falak is a business name of Achyut Labs Pty Ltd, ABN 19 639 614 332, based in Melbourne, Australia. Our terms are governed by Victorian law, and our privacy policy follows the Australian Privacy Principles.

Why we built it

Karya Falak starts from a common problem. Requests arrive by email, by message and through a web form, and they end up scattered across inboxes and phones. Nobody can see at a glance who is handling what, or what is still waiting for a reply.

Service businesses often have one more problem on top. A job is marked done in one app while the money is tracked somewhere else, and the customer’s details are typed in twice. So Karya Falak puts the invoice on the same card as the conversation that started the job, along with the quote, the visits, the Field app and payments.

Karya Falak is a newer Australian product, built for businesses that want the whole job on one card.

Where it is hosted

• The application and its database run with DigitalOcean in Sydney, Australia.
• Files and attachments are stored with Google Cloud Storage. The privacy policy says where each provider keeps information.
• Some providers process information overseas, mainly in the United States, to deliver email, WhatsApp messages and payments. The privacy policy names each one.

How we build it

• One business can never see another’s data. The separation is enforced by the database on every query, not by a filter the application has to remember. Every change is tested against it.
• Every piece of work ships with tests, including at least one that tries to do the wrong thing, such as reading another business’s data or replaying a payment notice.
• Big decisions are written down before the code, so the product does not drift from what we told you.
• Prices come from one place. The numbers on this site are read from the same file the billing system uses, so the site cannot quote a price you will not be charged.
• We describe what the product does. Every claim on this site is checked against the product itself.

Built for Australian businesses

Prices are in Australian dollars with GST included. Invoices follow the ATO’s tax invoice rules and check your ABN. Reports give you G1 and 1A for your BAS. The Calendar knows the public holidays in each state and territory. Customers can pay by PayID or bank transfer, and by card or PayTo through your own Stripe account.
